In this post we shall talk about ghosting in a Nikon 28mm 1.4 lens. This lens has almost zero ghosts. Flaring is also absent in this lens. Even if you shoot the pictures with your lens pointed directly at your light source you will not find any flare blobs or ghost images. If you use a polarizing filter, then you will notice an inverted ghost in the centre. This is possible if you are shooting at night and using the lens to shoot bright pictures against a dark background. You can prevent this from happening, if you stop using the filter and try to shoot in such a way that the light is more evenly spread out. This is a very minor problem and the lens can easily score a better than average rating when it comes to ghosting and flares. You can easily trust the optical quality of this lens.
